Alex sees clients in-person at the Wicker Park office as well as Illinois residents virtually

Have you ever felt overwhelmed with work, school, relationships, or just life in general? Has life

changed unexpectedly? Is past trauma preventing you from experiencing life to its fullest? Have

you been dealing with feelings of hopelessness or sadness that don’t seem to go away? Are you

dealing with the loss of a loved one, relationship, or opportunity? If you answered "yes" to any

of those questions, just know, that you are not alone. We can all encounter a time when we feel

overwhelmed, scared, or even lost. Sometimes these issues can feel unbearable, but with the right

tools and a strong ally, we can grow, develop, and heal in ways that we never conceived as

possible.

My clinical goal is to help clients find resilience and hope in the face of adversity. We will work

to find the resolve to keep moving forward against the most difficult of life circumstances.

Together, we can find the courage to process overwhelming grief and pain, forgive ourselves and

others, change what isn't working, increase self-worth, and discover inner peace. My therapeutic

approach honors the uniqueness of each person. I believe that therapy is about discovering what

works best for you. I integrate various evidence-based methods and interventions to help you

achieve your goals and live your very best life.

In my personal life, I have engaged in extensive volunteer legal advocacy work to promote

equitable representation in the field of mental health. I have written three state-level resolutions

to promote the well-being of disenfranchised populations. I love giving back to my community,

and find great fulfillment in the populations I work with!
