As a clinical art therapist, I aim to facilitate growth through verbal and expressive therapies. The creative process generates a space to assimilate the values, characteristics, and qualities that make you, uniquely you. I strive to provide an empathetic, non-judgemental, and trusting environment where you can feel safe to uncover fragments of yourself that are in need of healing. One of the most crucial components in successful therapy is building a sincere therapeutic relationship with you based on genuine consideration and commitment to understanding your world. Connecting authentically with you on a human to human basis is where the recovery can start. In my experience, expressive therapies incorporate kinetic practices to release and process trauma trapped in the body. Clients have the option to engage in art therapy or traditional talk therapy. No experience with art is required.

Operating from a trauma-informed lens, my approach incorporates creative self-expression, DBT, CBT, systems theory, client-centered and holistic concepts. I am trained in strengths-based practices, harm reduction, and mindfulness techniques. I believe empowerment paves the road to healing and together we can draw from your strengths to develop your “toolbox” to take on life’s challenges with a greater sense of confidence and ease. I work with adults, couples, and families who experience a wide range of concerns including mood disorders, depression, anxiety, neurodivergence, substance abuse, gender and sexual identity exploration, relational stressors, PTSD, grief and loss. I specialize in working with people who live with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, and trauma related disorders.

I received my dual degree as Master of Arts in Counseling: Art Therapy from Adler University in 2019. I am a LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent- affirming, sex positive, multidimensional artist and animal lover.
